Mission
Our mission is to make NIS2 legible. The directive is dense, the implementing regulation is dense, the national transposition acts are dense. We translate these texts into operational guidance grounded in the source articles, recitals, and ENISA guidance — in five languages, on a public domain, free at the point of use.
Who we write for
Boards and audit committees of essential and important entities. CISOs and DPOs preparing for or recovering from a notification. Compliance officers building the registers and policies that NIS2 requires. National regulators and supervisory authorities are also welcome readers, but the operational angle is primarily for in-house practitioners.
Independence
We do not run advertising, do not accept paid placements, and do not receive funding from cybersecurity vendors. We do not link to vendor blogs or consultancy whitepapers in article bodies. Every external link points to an EU-level authority (EUR-Lex, ENISA, the Commission), a national competent authority, a national legislative gazette, or an established standards body (ISO, NIST). If a future commercial relationship arises, it will be disclosed on this page before any related article ships.

Editorial scope vs legal advice
Articles on nis2insights.com are editorial analysis, not legal advice. We aim for accurate, citable summaries of EU and national law, but specific compliance decisions should be made with qualified legal counsel and your competent national authority. The editorial desk takes responsibility for editorial accuracy; readers take responsibility for the decisions they make based on our work.
